Founded in 1860, Chapel Hill-Chauncy Hall School is located just minutes west of Boston, Massachusetts and its world-renowned colleges and universities. The academically rigorous school offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma along with various AP courses and a senior capstone project that promotes independence and responsibility.

The school’s historical buildings are located on a forested 40-acre campus with a classic New England feel. Students have access to a media arts center, barn houses with a theater, a digital arts lab, a photography dark room, a pottery studio, and a dance/yoga studio. Additionally, the campus features a pond with a zip-line, a greenhouse, multiple athletic fields, swimming pools, a gymnasium, a fitness center, and a student commons.

Chapel Hill-Chauncy Hall School is home to 12 intercollegiate sports teams, six of which won the state championships during the 2017-18 season. In addition to competitive athletics, students can participate in recreational activities such as fitness.
The school offers a wide and unique range of arts options such as sculpting and wheel throwing as well as extracurricular clubs such as drama tech and media internship.

CH-CH is listed among the top 10 schools in the state for their range of Advanced Placement courses. The 2017-18 school year brought six state championships in volleyball, cross country, boy’s basketball, boy’s lacrosse, wrestling, and softball.

Students live in one of four dorms with laundry, common rooms, and dorm parents. The school organizes various activities such as college sports games, kayaking, and skiing. Since the school is located so close to Boston, students have the opportunity to take public transportation into the city and explore on their own.
