Maynard High School is a small high school in a suburban town offering dual enrollment and AP courses, a specialized communication program, and online courses through the Virtual High School program. Maynard High School's facilities include a new classroom building opened in 2013, an auditorium, a cafeteria, a gymnasium, vocational technology classrooms, a radio/TV station, and a state-of-the-art athletic field complex.

Students can play traditional team sports like American football, ice hockey, and softball at Maynard.
In addition to art electives such as graphic design and theater, the school offers an outstanding media communication program with courses and facilities dedicated to its radio and TV stations.
