Their facilities support their students to earn their spot in The Academy's specialty programs including internships with NASA, Judges' offices, and law offices. They also have a Business Development program and he Northern Horizon Science Project Program.
SPORTS AND ARTS
Northern Academy offers multiples sports all year long for students to participate in including Basketball, Table Tennis, Archery, Tennis, and more! There are no sit out periods for international students and The Academy organizes these activities so they coincide with the student's academics- and not overwhelming for the student.
The Academy holds unique fine arts courses to explore. Some include Classical Chinese Dance, Flexibility Training, Music Creativity Through Technology, and Fashion Construction. This is the perfect place to explore your creative side!

Northern Academy has an A rating on Niche.com and is ranked #2 Best Private High School in Orange County. They are accredited by MSA-CESS. (Commissions on Elementary and Secondary Institutions of the Middle States Assocation.) Faculty have also won National Science Foundation Research Award.
DORMITORIES AND STUDENT LIFE
Northern Academy has home-like dorm housing, separated by gender and supervised 24/7 by resident teachers. In addition, The Academy's residential services implement a healthy routine, kitchen facilities, quiet surroundings, and an on-site laundry room. In the kitchen, Northern Academy staffs award winning chefs that cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner and can accommodate meat or vegetarian healthy, homemade meals. The school is at the center of the Hudson Valley which is steeped in state parks, historical sites, ski resorts, and shopping centers. It's also only 1.5 hours from downtown Manhattan which makes it the perfect balance of nature and city!
